Welcome to Aviation Web Middle East, the latest portal dedicated to Aviation News in the Middle East. It is started as an idea to allocate open space. While most of those who operate in the same niche allocate a large portion of their content to press releases, we have chosen to go via a slightly different route. We don’t intend to operate a website that gets its news primarily from official sources. We will not shy away from it when it is informative and useful, but to limit ourselves as such might limit us from reporting on some issues that affect our content generators.
Lack of access is an inevitable result in communities where freedom of opinion is not usually the norm or where anonymous or investigative reporting is considered libelous, contentious or even malicious in nature. Therefore, we plan to keep that in mind as we generate our own content to ensure the long-term viability of this endeavor.
While we will always try to present a fair argument, this will not prevent us from publishing controversial content. As long as we believe any piece of information passed the threshold of verifiability. Opinion pieces however is obviously excluded from that and we try to ascertain the credentials of the Authors in order to guarantee our readers an informative and accurate reading experience
Aviation Web Middle East will strive to verify -to the extent possible- its claims and stories. Unless a guest writer agree to be identified in the article, the anonymity provided by our website will not steer us in the direction of unsubstantiated news.
We have launched our website with the above in mind. Look here for news, insights and reports about the Middle Eastern Aviation industry. Because some of our content might be considered controversial. We realized that our first post has to be neutral as to not be perceived as biased for or against any entity or airline.
